How We Help

Crisis preparation involves a number of critical activities. We can help you examine your vulnerabilities, develop a plan, identify spokespersons and train your crisis communications team to put that plan into action. We train to the situations specific to your operations so that you'll be ready when a crisis occurs. You'll practice on-camera interviews, news conferences, ambush interviews and other situations a crisis might create.  As we guide you, you'll learn:

  • How to define your vulnerabilities and prepare for the events that are most likely to have the greatest impact on your operations
  • How to create a crisis communcation team and develop and implement crisis communication plans before you need them
  • How to select and prepare the appropriate spokespersons
  • How to anticipate questions reporters will ask during a crisis
  • The media phases of a crisis and the kinds of questions reporters will ask during each phase
  • The role of the Internet, blogs and YouTube in crisis communication today, why you need to pay attention to them and how you can influence what they're saying about you
  • How to develop messages you'll need before a crisis occurs and how to make those messages compelling, quotable and memorable
  • The one question everybody fears most, how to answer it, and much more...
